ALTERNATOR 12V 240A, FORD FALCON AU II, III, BA FALCON W/- 6CYL

$990.00

Like your turbo Barra with plenty of horsepower??

Sounds like my predicament..I was running 3 fuel pumps, 2 water pumps, 3 electric fans, wideband O2 sensor plus a host of other items I soon found my fans and fuel pump just weren’t turning as fast as they use to be. I was running out of amps..

Replace the standard 110a alternator with this 240a big boy.

Made for vehicles that demand more than what O.E. manufacturer alternators can offer. Built to a high standard where reliability and performance are key, with the alternators designed specifically for vehicles that demand more than what the OE alternator offered – higher output (amperage) at lower cut-in speeds.

Intended to run high-demand components at idle, such as dual thermos-fans, injection systems, air conditioning, electric steering, monitoring systems, upgraded lighting systems and winches, while maintaining the battery at the desired levels.

With a rigorous design and testing phase, combined with efficient cooling fans and the highest quality bearings ensure that they can replace and outperform the most popular units in the market today.

Features:

  • Designed for vehicles with high electrical loads such as dual thermo-fans, injection systems, air conditioning, electric steering, etc. while maintaining the battery at the desired levels

  • Upgrade technology

  • Reinforced ribbed mounting points

  • Dual rear mounting points to fit early and late applications

  • Replaces standard 110A alternator

  • High Ampage alternator to run high electrical loads

  • Fits Ford Falcon AU II, III, BA Falcon w/ 6CYL Barra

  • Mount: direct replacement

  • Due to the amount of current this alternator can produce, The Main B+ wire from the alternator to the battery needs to be rated no less than 250A @14v DC (recommend 6 B&S cable) available separately.

  • This unit is not to be used with Lithium batteries unless they are used in conjunction with a DC to DC Charger.

  • Increased mounting bracket design from the O.E design.

  • Rear support on the back of the alternator must be used, this unit will take the early and late bracket.

  • Ideal for conversions that use the standard 2 pin alternator plug
